The search function allows users to locate specific articles or topics quickly. The app supports gesture-based interactions, such as swiping to navigate between stories or tapping to expand summaries.
Although the developer did not list formal performance metrics, the app demonstrates responsive behavior across various iOS devices. Users report smooth scrolling, fast loading times for articles, and consistent playback quality for podcasts. Stability appears to be maintained, with no widespread reports of crashes or freezes. The app’s performance is likely optimized for modern iOS hardware, though compatibility with older devices may vary.
Platform Compatibility & Technical Requirements
Aftenposten is available exclusively on iOS, supporting the latest versions of the operating system. The app requires a minimum of 150.9 MB of storage space, which is moderate for a news and podcast app with multimedia content. The current version is 2.3.1, released on September 13, 2023.
The developer did not specify minimum OS requirements or compatibility details for older devices. However, given the app’s reliance on modern iOS features such as push notifications, background audio playback, and dynamic content rendering, it is likely optimized for devices running iOS 14 or later.
